World Taekwondo Coaching Courses and Information
Kyorugi Coaches wishing to attend and support their athletes at World Taekwondo (WT) G ranked events must hold the appropriate WT coaching qualifications. Courses are routinely offered by WT and can be accessed via the GMS - simply compete website.
Level 1 Kyorugi Coaching course
- Description (looks like it is held on the 1st of each month)
This course is to certify the coaches who will then be eligible for participating in WT Recognized Competitions in the capacity of a coach.
The holder of Level I Coach Certificate is eligible for being a coach at G1 and G2 International Competitions.
Qualification requirements to attend Level I Course
Holder of World Taekwondo Global License (this is not just being a TNZ member ($5US) but they must also apply got a Global Licence ($30USD))
Applicant who has experience in coaching:
Applicant aged 21 years old or above
Level 2 Kyorugi Coaching course
- Description (looks like it is held on the 15th of each month)
This course is to certify the coaches who will then be eligible for participating in WT Recognized Competitions in the capacity of a coach.
The holder of Level II Coach Certificate is eligible for being a coach at G4 and above International Competitions.
Qualification requirements to attend Level II Course
Holder of active WT Global License
Applicant who has experience in coaching
Applicant aged 21 years old or above
Applicant recommended by the pertinent MNA
Applicant who has a command of the English language both in speaking and writing
Holder of Level 1 Coach Certificate
