Good morning instructors, Coaches and Players, - 6 Saturdays until the tournament
Officials
All invited Officials have signed up to officiate at the tournament. If you have students who wish to learn how to officiate, have them come along to the referee meetings. They will need to be prepared to sit alongside a "Mentor" for the day.

All have arrived and are stacked away ready for the 12th April.
Notes on Competition (will be discussed in the meeting)
Kyorugi referee crews will swap mats every hour

Kyorugi rules to follow the December 2024 update
Both Kyorugi mats will run the Best of 3 round system
Cadets, Junior and Seniors being Grade3-5, Grade 2-1 and Black Belts will use Daedo electronic Hogus and Headgear (please bring your Daedo socks)
Rounds will be 1 minute 30 seconds, with 30-45 seconds rest
Poomsae will be run under the WT elimination system.
Two contestants at performing at once. Referee judging the winner, with the display signaling the winner to the coaches, players and spectators
The Two chosen poomsae (in the info pack) will be used through ALL rounds of the Poomsae (allows Coach to give feedback and improvement to be shown) - EXCEPTION WT Div (BB Div 1). These divisions will have their poomsae drawn on the 10th April
An extra poomsae will occur if scores are tied. It will be one of the two patterns for the division (decided by coin toss)
Zoom Meeting - Rules Regulations and everything else
The Technical Delegates meeting (for Team mangers, Coaches and Officials) will occur on Tuesday the 8th of April at 9pm, finishing at 10pm. Bring your questions.
