The TNZ Board are entrusted with the interests of its members and work together to ensure that they represent the members with transparency and integrity.

President

Jin Keun Oh has a wealth of experience and knowledge within the Taekwondo world having been a former New Zealand Olympic Coach for over the past decade. In conjunction with the board, he provides guidance with the direction the organisation takes and in particular the management of stakeholder relationships on a national and international level including World Taekwondo and Kukkiwon.

Vice president

Kesi O’Neill has over 30 years experience in the Taekwondo martial art and sport and is also the President of the New Zealand United Taekwondo Association member organisation. As the Vice-President on the board, Kesi will provide support to the President and assumes the responsibilities of the Presidential role in his absence and as required.

SECRETARY GENERAL

Darryl June will undertake the role of Secretary General for TNZ. This role sees the formal communication lines maintained with third parties. It is a transparent role that must encompass and promote the integrity of the organisation for its members.

Treasurer/finance Manager

Amanda has had experience with various community groups and committees over the past 15 years, from being the Treasurer to leading and contributing group fundraising days. She is passionate about leadership, developing people and being part of an environment that is inclusive and transparent.

Amanda began her journey with Taekwondo as an adult and has been training with Manawatu TKD since 2010.
